Another good tip aiming for the prevention of haemorrhoids is to try and empty your bowel as soon as possible after you notice it is required and try to avoid any unnecessary straining and perform a quick bowel movement.

If there are signs of diarrhea, symptoms of coughing or maybe you even notice a constipation - get proper treatment immediately, or there  is a risk that you could develop hemorrhoids.

Good advice to shorten it is to avoid any reading while on the toilet and try to go there when you are not stressed, so you can really focus on getting the job done. Maintaining sound and healthy emptying of the bowel and maintaining soft and bulky stool are important considerations when it comes to preventing hemmroids.

Always check side effects of any prescription medication you might get and also keep your eyes open for the symptoms of any such side effects that you are aware of.

Frequent and regular exercise is a good help to avoid constipation.

If you have hemorrhoids, be careful when you wipe your bottom after a complete bowel movement. Best is to use moist and very soft toilet paper. There are also baby wipes available for assistance with hemmorrhoid relief. Avoid heavy lifts, or heavy items moving if you suffer from hemorrhoids.

An increased alcohol intake will change the blood flow out from the central blood vessels to the peripheral bloodvessels, something that transport hemroid blood and increases the risk of a problem developing.

For treating hemorrhoids, it is absolutely vital to actually find what is the underlying cause for hemroids, and not only focusing on the signs of hamroid symptoms which may have less long term functionality as they will simply come back later.

Here are some of the typical symptoms of hemeroids although not all people will show any symptoms at all:

  • Difficult haemroid pain during bowel movements
  • Some pain, often a feeling of burning sensations, during a bowel movement
  • Hemroid bleeding when you empty your bowel
  • Rectal bleeding noticed, thrombosed hemmoroids appear
  • Signs of bright red either bleeding hemmeroids in stool or toilet paper
  • Hemmoroids prolapsing during bowel movements
  • Anal itching that will not go away
  • Lumps found on the outside of anus

Four stages of hemorrhoids symptoms:

a: Some anal bleeding noticed, probably indirect in stool or on toilet paper

b: Hemmorroids starts prolapsing when emptying bowel, then retracting again

d: Prolapsing hemorrhoids but will not automatically fall back inside, may need pushing back in.

e: Prolapsed hemorrhoid that will no longer go back whether pushed or not

Note: Bleeding hemorrhoids are not an unusual problem, but you should still see your doctor if you notice that any rectal bleeding seems to last more than only a short time (a few days, no longer). This is because anal bleeding can be a symptomacic of much more serious diseases such as colon cancer.

Hemorrhoids can be treated with good result using over-the-counter meds, by changing your diet (drink more and eat more fibre) or by the use of natural or herbal remedies (creams, ointments). Then with some odd, fortunately very odd, circumstances more direct measures may be required to get rid of hemmroids. Hemorrhoid surgery is the final solution, there are several new methods for this and other hemmoroid symptoms treatment.
