Hemmroid pain relief come in many fashins. For temporary relief from hemmoroid (hemmorroid) pain there are several methods and these are often used together with other methods and medicines for longer treatment of hemorrhoids.

hemroids treatment relief

Hemmroid pain relief methods of simplicity, such as the use of a cold compress placed on top of the hemmroids, or the use of a hot sitz  bath frequently (few times a day), are often the best hemmoroid relief treatment. There are also more or less obscure home remedies for hemmorroids such as using a warm bottle of red wine in a sitz bath - sitting in it that is - but we seriously doubt whether it would not be more clever to use the bottle of red in the normal way instead for hemmroid relief.

Best treatment of hemmroids (hemmoroids)

Hemmoroids relief can often be accomplished by the use of ointments or creams designed for this purpose, offering temporary relief from the hemrod pain while the hemorrhoids heal naturally - or while waiting for other types of hemorroids medication doing their job. Hemroid prevention and avoidance can often be very simple, such as sticking to the right diet and planning in lots of exercise, something that is obviously rather important if you have a job that puts you in an office chair most of the day. For really difficult cases of bleeding hemorrhoids, prolapsed hemorrhoids (external hemroids),  there is always surgery to resort to when nothing else helps but hemmeroids treatment include many options in between.

It is possible to by haemmoroid suppositories without prescription - brands such as Xyloproct or Scheriproct but also many other names are often available off the shelf from pharmacies or drugstores. Several hemorrhoid cremes intended to stop the itching, typically hydrocortison or midison lipid based - are also available. Many over the counter creams or suppositories are hydrocortison based and you can also get cotton pads containing witch hazel as a numbing agent which will provide a good hemmeroid relief effect.

One of the best known medications for hemorrhoids are Preparation H. This is a hemmeroid cream that has been around for a long time and is a bestseller. Note though, that any longer term use of cortison based creams may have the effect of resulting in other problems such as dermatites or skin atrophy. When using cortison cream, apply with care and avoid using it for too long without first consulting  your doctor. By using a Xylocain creme you will also achieve some effect of anaestathic and it will also minimize some the pain during difficult your bowel movements.

Haemmoroid signs can be of either internal or external type. Hemmoroids that belong to the external (protruded) type of haemmroids frequently are among the worst when it comes to pain and problems. When it comes to external hammeroids, there is an increased risk that the hemroids may start to bleed or get sore. External hemorrhoids typically come from internal haemmorroids that eventually protrude during bowel movements, sometimes permanently and some other times they might go back again once the movement is over. Treating haemmoroids (hemmerhoids) methods can range from good alternative herbal hemoroid cures to surgical haemmroid rubber banding. Pictures of hemmroids shown here may be offensive to some as they are rather repulsive. View our hemrods pictures at your own risk and discomfort.
